i-Transport and UATP Go Green Go Smart Conference
Abstracts must not be longer than 300 words and have the topic on the top and the preferred stream (Public Transport, ITS and/or Land-use & Economic Planning) on a second line. The name(s) and author(s) will be submitted separately to enable a blind review.
The abstract must clearly indicate “the problem/challenge” the presentation deals with and reflect on how this problem/challenge was addressed and the solution that was implemented. Abstracts must show “innovation” and “problem-solving” and NOT be a “sales pitch” for products or systems. The name(s) and CV(s) of the author(s) must be submitted as a separate document(s).
Abstracts accepted will be arranged per stream (Public Transport, ITS or Land-use & Economic Planning) and per theme. Examples of typical session themes could be (in no particular order) Public Transport Operations and Maintenance, Funding Mechanisms, Advanced Public Transport Management Systems, Passenger Services, Automated Fare Collection (AFC), Future Payment Solutions, Modal Integration, Mobility as a Service (MaaS), Traffic Management, Law Enforcement/Road Safety, Telematics/ Big Data, Connected Vehicles, Smart Cities/Green Transport, Sustainability/Procurement, and so on.
After requests for an extension, the deadline for abstract submissions is 15 November 2017, and authors will get notification by mid January 2018. After acceptance of the abstract, we will require a presentation, not a full paper.
All conference submissions are done via an on-line submission system:
